If these folks' thinking is contrary to your newer feelings, prime the pump with the booze of their preference. ;-)

Anyway, I'm far more impressed by a thoughtful individual's change of heart than by a stubborn individual's bloody-minded refusal to acknowledge even the possible merit of another's point of view. Good on ya, Rocky. :-)
Blog: Some Dark RomanticMina Lobohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10173895884776280826noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7363138865808629218.post-19536209448668590392013-08-22T18:22:53.374-05:002013-08-22T18:22:53.374-05:00Thanks so much, Sally! Thanks so much, Sally!Rockyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05433553777714637069noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7363138865808629218.post-79272552647152092402013-08-22T18:22:37.923-05:002013-08-22T18:22:37.923-05:00You're right, Vicki! This is a ...What a fantastic topic to write about. This is a great example of "walk a mile in another man's (or woman's) shoes". Jury duty seems easy enough until you are the one sitting in judgment and making decisions that might permanently alter a persons life. As for your question on a change in core values and explaining to friends, if they are too narrow minded or intolerant to accept you've changed then they probably aren't friends worth keeping. There is no point in being so stubborn in our views that circumstances, life, experiences, can lead us to another opinion. In my opinion that would make you a better person. You should be proud that you are able to consider and reconsider your opinion as situations change and alter. Sallyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14090018804016223955noreply@blogger.com
